The Cabin in the Woods: A young girl’s story of survival in the wilderness by Marisa Lavallee

Marisa Lavallee had a turbulent life, and because of a nervous breakdown at the age of 14, she left school. Thirteen years later, she returned and went on to get a business degree. She owned and managed a number of businesses.

In her thirties, she obtained her real estate license and enjoyed many successful years in the real estate industry.

Marisa is now 63 years old and is the co-founder of Wet Coast Clothing. A unique women’s clothing store located on beautiful Vancouver Island.

Marisa purchased a home on an acreage in a very rural area of Vancouver Island 16 years ago. This is where she enjoys her dogs, painting and bird watching.
