How I Became The Mom To Moms: It takes a village to raise a kid… you are not alone by Michelle Den Boer

Michelle Den Boer is a Mom Mentor, Fitness/Wellness Coach, Inspirational Speaker, Author, and most important, a Mom. Her background as a Personal Trainer, and motivator to help others become healthy, drove her to lead her local community in a year long challenge to become healthier.

Throughout her life experience, she has realized that there are many facets to life and to be truly healthy you have to work on all of them. One thing she knows for sure is being a mom is one of the most important jobs you can have and it is a tough one. We, as moms, are raising someone’s spouse, friend, co-worker, etc., and in our determination of doing our best sometimes, it gets overwhelming, challenging, and rewarding.

However, we only have our kiddos for a short time before they head out into the world.

Michelle has the belief in empowering our kids to make the right choice and let go of the power struggle, so you can really enjoy your time with them.

Michelle has created a safe place where moms can come together and support one another and mastermind troubles with each other. Her way of talking you through a challenge or feeling is one of unconditional support, trust, and believing that leads you to a conclusion without even realizing it. Join the ‘Moms Nurturing Moms’ facebook group, which is a great place to connect with Michelle and other like-minded moms. This is a place to share challenges, wins, and to support each other.

Check out Michelle’s free ‘Empower Your Kids to Make the Right Choices’ which is where she shares some of her strategies, tools, and ideas in a free e-book.

“Just as there is no warning for childbirth, there is no preparation for the sight of a first child. There should be a song for women to sing at this moment or a prayer to recite. But perhaps there is none because there are no words strong enough to name that moment.”
