Noella is a Metis woman currently living in her hometown. Which is located in The Northwest of British Columbia, a 16-hour drive from the Capital. Noella has lived here her whole life, 32 years.
She values her health and wellness, and this has allowed her to become sober. She worked very hard to get herself to that place in her life. She has two girls ages 11 and 10 years old and continued to have two more children with her now husband. Two beautiful sons ages 2 and 3.
Noella is currently working as a licensed Early Childhood Educator! On her down time she enjoys hiking, running, and exploring the surrounding area with her family. She advocates for mental health resources in her community and is the Chairperson on the Parent Advisory Counsel for her daughter’s school.
Noella hopes her story will help heal others who have been through a similar experience.
