We have other areas that lack water, like Turkana and Bahria. This place in Kenya they have a low population due to the lack of water and some basic needs. The animals there are dying.
In other areas, they have hospitals but without medicines, which makes some people lose their life in struggling while searching for it.
In another area, like in our area, many people lack something to eat, and as a result, this causes them to be attacked by diseases like anemia. It is more spread to widows and orphans.
Actually, the widows and the orphans are suffering a lot. This makes some of them lose their lives. And others they normally depend on tree leaves and roots to eat. Some widows would like houses to stay in, but no one cares about them.

You will find out from their stories that these women are extremely poor. Many of them are widows and many children are orphans.
There is a lack of food and water for these people. Some still live in grass huts that cave in once the grass rots. Children drop out of school because they lack uniforms, socks, or shoes, and the school fees are not paid.
Some families have resorted to eating tree leaves and roots as they can’t buy any food, and they are having trouble growing food due to their lack of rain and resources.
As you read their stories, you will find that although they are dealing with unimaginable difficulties and heartbreak, they do what they can to stay positive and support their families.
