Today I live in Fort Chipewyan, which is my mother’s hometown. I have been here in Fort chip for about 37 years and work at the Athabasca Delta Community School for helping hands. We promote mental health and well. We hold classes and do community events, all based on mental health, promoting, and sharing awareness.
I love Fort Chipewyan. This is my home. Today I have been sober for 12 years now, and I’m so grateful for my journey. It made me who I am today, and I love who I am.
